Baptist Health Shelby Hospital in Alabaster, AL is seeking a Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager to lead shift operations and ensure top‑quality patient care. The CANM will guide staffing, patient flow, and clinical practice in a fast‑paced acute care setting.

Qualified candidates will typically hold a BSN and Alabama RN licensure with at least 1 year of RN experience; BLS certification is required and advanced certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and eligible for Alabama RN licensure.
• Minimum one year of experience as an RN; acute care preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Alabama or NLC; BLS certification.
• Certification in area of expertise preferred; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required.

Responsabilités

• Lead shift operations to ensure high‑quality care and efficient patient flow.
• Staffing assignments based on acuity and team member skills.
• Coordinate patient flow with supervisors, care coordinators, and discharge planners.
• Monitor patient status and assist with care delivery per physician orders.
• Lead safety huddles and promote a collaborative, diverse work environment.
