Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• A minimum of one year of RN experience; acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Alabama or NLC.
• Current BLS certification.
• Certification in area of expertise; preferred.
• May require ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC based on patient population.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and manage staff assignments to meet patient care needs.
• Coordinate patient flow with supervisors, care coordinators, and discharge planners.
• Monitor patient status and ensure timely, safe care delivery.
• Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to frontline team members.
• Promote safety, quality, and patient experience through rounds and interventions.
• Ensure regulatory readiness and adherence to policies and standards.
• Support retention initiatives and a best-place-to-work environment.
• Engage with patients/families to enhance experience and address concerns.
• Participate in leadership huddles and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
