Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
• Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients’ rights in the delivery of care.
• Communicates clearly to patients and families at appropriate developmental level.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of unit competencies and leadership.
• Obtains and records initial assessments and sets priorities by patient age and symptoms.
• Re-assesses patients to identify progress and needed interventions.
• Develops and implements a measurable plan of care within Nursing Standards of Care.
• Performs timely nursing interventions and coordinates discharge planning.
