CHRISTUS Health in New Mexico seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate and implement patient care for diverse age groups on assigned units. You will ensure quality care, safety, and adherence to unit standards while engaging with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

The role emphasizes assessment, care planning, patient education, discharge planning, and contributing to unit growth. Current NM RN license and BLS are required; 7PM–7AM shift; full-time position.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
• Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients’ rights in the delivery of care.
• Communicates in a clear concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of patient.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain and record initial assessment and establish priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
• Re-assess patients to identify progress and when intervention is needed.
• Develop and implement a measurable, individualized plan of care.
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions and modify the plan based on evaluations.
• Participate in patient/significant other education and discharge planning.
• Implement timely interventions and evaluate the plan of care.
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures.
• Delegate unit work assignments and coordinate team activities.
• Serve as a resource to visitors, physicians, and staff.
• Promote a positive work environment and participate in unit growth and development.
