Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver patient care across age-appropriate units, ensuring safe, high-quality care aligned with unit standards.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, document interventions, educate patients and families, and collaborate with staff to meet organizational goals. NM RN license and BLS required; shift: 7 PM to 7 AM; full-time.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served.
• Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in the delivery of care.
• Communicates clearly to patients across developmental levels.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the OneCHRISTUS competencies and leads self or teams.
• Obtains and records initial assessment and sets priorities by patient age and symptoms.
• Re-assesses patients to identify progress needing intervention.
• Develops and implements a measurable plan of care within Nursing Standards of Care.
• Makes nursing decisions based on evaluations and updates the care plan as needed.
• Performs patient and family education and discharge planning.
