Endeavor Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (4E Med/Surg/Tele) for nights in Chicago, IL. The role requires RN licensure in Illinois, a Bachelor of Nursing preferred, and strong clinical leadership.

You will coordinate staffing, oversee patient flow, and collaborate across departments to ensure safe bed management and timely discharges. Responsibilities include rounds, resource support for staff, and participation in teamwork initiatives to improve patient throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing preferred and valid Illinois RN license.
• Current CPR certification (AHA) required.
• Clinical nursing skills and effective communication essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate unit operations and staff, reporting to Unit Manager.
• Serve as a resource for nursing and medical staff.
• Facilitate admission/transfer planning with Bed Coordinator.
• Perform rounds and monitor patient conditions.
• Assist with bed control and timely discharges.
• Participate in Nursing DIG Committee to improve throughput.
• Ensure appropriate coverage based on census and acuity.
• Delegate tasks and provide feedback to staff.
