The role involves patient rounds, staff supervision, and collaboration with admitting and bed management. A BSN is preferred; IL RN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Two years' experience as a Staff Nurse.
• Current IL RN license; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, delegate and communicate on clinical and operational issues.
• Make patient rounds and monitor condition changes.
• Manage unit staffing and assignments; ensure coverage.
• Orient agency staff and provide feedback; participate in committees.
• Support bed management and discharge planning to optimize throughput.
