Endeavor Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the 7E Cardiac Telemetry unit in Chicago, IL. The role involves coordinating nursing care, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth patient flow during night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

The candidate will lead rounds, collaborate with admitting and bed management, and participate in performance evaluations and team protocols to improve throughput and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing; Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
• Two years' experience as a staff nurse.
• Current Illinois RN license; CPR certification required.
• Board certification in specialty area within 2 years of promotion.
• American Heart Association CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate unit functioning as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator.
• Coordinate, delegate, and communicate effectively on clinical and operational issues.
• Report to Unit Manager and act as a resource for nursing and medical staff.
• Collaborate with admitting, Bed Coordinator, and Supervisor for timely admissions and transfers.
• Monitor patient rounds and changes in condition.
• Ensure appropriate unit coverage based on census and RN:patient ratio.
• Orient agency personnel and provide ongoing feedback.
• Participate in Rapid Response and Stroke Team as applicable.
