Job summary

The candidate will install, repair, and maintain various chiller types, perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and document all activities. A high school diploma and journeyman license are preferred, with strong safety awareness and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical Journeyman’s License is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year chiller experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of chiller systems (operation, maintenance, troubleshooting).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and with basic computer devices.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain chillers (centrifugal, screw, absorption).
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify root causes; follow engineering specs.
• Repair or replace defective parts using tools and rigging equipment.
• Conduct performance tests and adjustments to meet specs.
• Keep accurate records of parts, labor, and work performed.
• Collaborate with team and contractors to complete projects on time.
