Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence East Campus is a Tenet Healthcare facility seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to lead nursing teams across a shift, ensuring safe, patient-centered care and efficient unit operations.

This role supervises staff, coordinates patient throughput, and collaborates with physicians and administrators to maintain high quality standards and regulatory compliance. A BSN/MSN and current Texas RN license are required, with ACLS/PALS/NRP per policy.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license to practice in state of Texas.
• 1 year of RN experience.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable by policy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admissions, transfers and discharges; mentor and train staff.
• Monitor medical charts and provide compassionate patient care.
• Coordinate with doctors and administrators; ensure protocol compliance and safety.
