Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - East Campus, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks a Charge Nurse RN for full-time nights in El Paso, TX. You will guide staff, ensure safe patient flow, and coordinate nursing care with physicians to maintain high-quality service.

You will also deliver direct clinical care, supervise on-shift staff, and plan patient care within policy, safety, and infection control standards while supporting hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1 year of RN experience.
• Licensed to practice with required certifications (BLS); ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admissions, transfers and discharges, mentoring new staff.
• Monitor charts, liaise with doctors, ensure protocol compliance and safety.
• Provide direct clinical patient care and supervise staff on shift.
• Coordinate patient care using nursing process and safety standards.
• Fulfills hospital incident command system responsibilities as needed.
