Job summary

Endeavor Health, Glenview, IL, is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the midshift to support our Sterile Processing Department. You will provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment, and ensure decontamination, assembly, packaging and cart setup meet patient care standards.

The role is full-time (40 hours), 11:00am-7:30pm with rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Equivalency required.
• Certification with CBSPD or IAHCSMM strongly preferred.
• Two years of sterile processing or operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and surgical case cart setup with quality control for patient care.
• Follow established procedures to ensure decontamination completion.
• Place sterile items in appropriate areas for distribution with accurate labeling by department.
