Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician for the Inpatient Central Pharmacy on the night shift. This role supports pharmacists in preparing, dispensing and distributing medications with cross-training across pharmacy operations including sterile products and OR pharmacy.

Qualified candidates must hold an active Certified Pharmacy Technician credential (PTCB or NHA) and be able to work the 7-on/7-off schedule with hours from 6:30pm to 6:30am (Wed–Mon) and 7:00pm to 6:30am on

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician required (PTCB or NHA).
• Inpatient central pharmacy experience preferred.
• Night shift flexibility and willingness to cross-train across operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications.
• Apply inventory control processes and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Operate computer systems and Omnicell devices; ensure accurate documentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Comply with federal, state and local regulations and hospital policies.
