Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Aide I/II to support patients on the 2N Medical unit in Charlotte. The role is part-time, 24 hours per week, with a 7 PM to 7 AM schedule, and requires NC Nurse Aide Registry eligibility.

You will assist with activities of daily living, basic clinical tasks, and coordination with nursing staff to ensure quality patient care. Responsibilities include vital signs, hygiene, safety instruction, and light clerical duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I or with the applicable state Board of Nursing as a Nurse Aide II.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients/residents with activities of daily living.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily care.
• Take vital signs and measure height/weight.
• Feed, ambulate, and reposition patients.
• Keep rooms clean and stocked.
• Observe and report changes in condition.
• Orient patients and educate on safety measures.
• Perform clerical tasks and maintain records.
