Advocate Health in High Point, NC seeks a Nurse Aide I to provide essential basic patient care on the Admission Discharge Transition Unit. This full-time role requires rotating 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and includes a 36-hour workweek, with four weekend shifts in a six-week period, aligned with our patient-centered care philosophy.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of Nurse Aide I program/competency evaluation.
• Nurse Aide I Registration with the State Board.
• Nurse Aide I Registry active.
• American Heart Association BLS Provider Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor patients' condition and promptly report changes to the licensed nurse.
• Record vital signs, heights, weights, intake/output, and other data accurately.
• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility.
• Support treatments such as glucose monitoring, catheter care, and basic procedures.
• Provide one-on-one observation and maintain patient safety at all times.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, ambulation, and safe use of mobility equipment.
• Prepare meals, assist feeding, monitor hydration.
