Job summary

Performance Foodservice in the United States is seeking CDL-A drivers to deliver food and related products via tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, including overnight schedules. You will be the face of the company, ensuring timely, safe deliveries and accurate paperwork while upholding DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet state licensing and/or certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Able to lift and move product cases/freight up to 60–90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Performs safety checks per DOT regulations.
• Drives and delivers orders on schedule.
• Unloads, inspects, and secures freight.
• Completes required paperwork accurately.
• Maintains vehicle and loading dock cleanliness.
