Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver for night shifts (Sunday–Thursday, 10 pm–4 am) to transport food and related products to customers across intrastate and interstate routes. The role requires safe driving, accurate deliveries, and strict DOT compliance, with pay between $85,000 and $110,000 per year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Able to lift/move freight up to 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Operate tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes.
• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections per DOT regulations.
• Deliver and unload food products to customers on schedule.
• Ensure proper load securement and accurate paperwork.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues promptly.
• Record hours of service and compliance data as required.
