Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring a CDL-A driver to operate tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes. The role starts around 11 PM with 4-to-5 day routes and goes until routes are finished, delivering food and related products safely and on time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid CDL-A and license checks as per state regulations.
• Clean MVR and successful DOT health card.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers professionally and answers questions promptly.
• Performs safety checks and inspections of tractor/trailer per DOT regulations.
• Delivers and unloads orders to customer locations on schedule.
• Obtains customer signatures and handles payments when required.
• Maintains paperwork accuracy and daily hours-of-service logs.
