Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to support America’s food distribution system. You will operate a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering and unloading per schedule, and serving as the face of the company with customers.

The role requires 21+ years of age, a valid CDL-A, DOT health/card, clean MVR, drug test and background check, and a Sunday-Thursday night shift 10 pm–4 am.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 12+ months commercial driving experience
• Valid CDL-A
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements
• Clean MVR for past 3 years
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
• Pass road test
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one

Responsibilities

• Drives tractor/trailer delivering and unloading food and related products.
• Performs safety checks and DOT-compliant inspections.
• Delivers orders according to predetermined route/delivery schedule.
• Collects signatures and verifies delivery with customers.
• Ensures paperwork is accurate and complete for freight.
• Maintains safety, security, and cleanliness of equipment and trailer.
