Job summary

North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, FL seeks an experienced RN for a 13‑week premium‑pay contract with potential full‑time or PRN placement. Minimum 1 year in Cardiac/Stroke Med/Surg; 2 South night shift (6pm–6am).

The RN provides patient‑centered care, conducts thorough assessments, administers medications, and collaborates with the care team to ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes under physician orders and established protocols.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years in a clinical nursing role or student rotations in acute care.
• Current RN licensure and Basic Life Support.
• Experience in Cardiac/Stroke Medical/Surgical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team on care plans.
• Assist during procedures and participate in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and post-discharge care.
