Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in the PCU unit.
• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN with state licensure and basic life support (BCLS) required; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with nursing processes and policies.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor for side effects, and document administration.
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competency and scope.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities as appropriate.
• Document patient care thoroughly in the medical record and promote infection control.
