Job summary

North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, FL, is offering a limited-time Premium Pay CONTRACT RN position on a 12-week contract with possible transition to Full Time or PRN placement. The role targets inpatient/acute care experience in the Cardiac/Stroke Medical/Surgical Unit, with night shifts from 6pm to 6am.

A minimum of 1 year nursing experience is preferred. The RN will provide patient-centered care, coordinate with the care team, administer medications, monitor patient status, and ensure

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (state licensure)
• BCLS certification required
• ACLS and/or PALS preferred
• 1 year of nursing experience in Cardiac/Stroke or Medical/Surgical units preferred
• Minimum 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience for candidates in early career

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to implement care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code activities.
