Job summary

Mt. Olive Pickle Co., Inc. is seeking skilled machine operators to safely set up, monitor, and maintain production equipment in the capping and pasteurizing area. You will troubleshoot issues, ensure food safety, train seasonal staff, and help keep lines running efficiently.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, English proficiency, basic math and computer skills, and a willingness to work a 4:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. schedule during peak season in Goldsboro, NC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trades training is a strong plus.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide) required.
• Intermediate level computer skills; CRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and operate equipment in the Capping and Pasteurizing Department.
• Monitor safety, production, quality, and housekeeping to meet 5S standards.
• Assist in training seasonal machine laborers and DIN personnel.
• Operate conveyors, capper, brine pumps, and related equipment; adjust line speed as needed.
• Maintain records of downtime and product checks; perform PMs and keep area clean.
