Mt. Olive Pickle Co., Inc. is seeking a Night Shift Finished Goods Machine Operator at the Goldsboro location to operate, monitor, and maintain finished goods packaging equipment, ensuring products are packaged safely and efficiently during overnight hours.

The role emphasizes quality control, adherence to safety procedures, and support for production goals, with a schedule of Monday-Saturday nights during peak season; willingness to train and handle equipment as described.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalency required.
• Must successfully complete company training modules for all pieces of qualified equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, specifications, charts and tables.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, repair and operate equipment in department.
• Coordinate work and resolve production or equipment problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspection of all equipment.
• Set up, operate, repair and maintain equipment to meet safety and quality standards.
• Adjust line speeds to meet standards and maximize production while maintaining quality.
• Perform daily and weekly operational and pre-operational checks and submit repair requests.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and replace parts to minimize downtime.
• Maintain clean work area and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Monitor product safety and quality and follow safety rules and company policies.
• Review weekly/monthly preventive maintenance reports.
