Job summary

Mt. Olive Pickle Company Inc. in Goldsboro, NC, is seeking a maintenance-oriented Machine Operator to set up, troubleshoot, repair and operate department equipment.

You will coordinate work under supervision and resolve production or equipment problems to keep lines running smoothly. You will perform preventive maintenance and inspections, adjust line speeds to meet standards, monitor product quality and maintain a clean work area in a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with trades training a plus.
• Must complete company training modules for all equipment.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Intermediate computer skills and willingness to learn new technology.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, troubleshoots, repairs and operates department equipment.
• Coordinates work and resolves production or equipment problems under supervision.
