Job summary

Mt. Olive Pickle Co., Inc. is seeking a skilled machine operator/mechanic to set up, troubleshoot, repair and operate capping and pasteurizing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

You will ensure safety, quality, and 5S standards while maintaining uptime across lines. Responsibilities include assisting in repairs, adjusting brine flow, monitoring dud detectors and training seasonal workers. Strong grip on manual handling, noise safety, and proper use of tools is required for this

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required; training in two pieces of qualified equipment.
• Able to set up, operate and maintain equipment in capping area.
• Able to lift, move and handle components and perform preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, repair, replace and operate capping equipment with attention to safety, quality and 5S.
• Adjust and repair capping area machinery, conveyors, and related components.
• Monitor line quality, uptime and food safety compliance; document downtime and checks.
• Assist in training seasonal laborers and DIN personnel; occasional forklift operation.
