Job summary

Harvard University Central Administration (CADM) seeks a one-year term shuttle van operator to support Cambridge/Allston campuses.

The role operates a shuttle van, responds to online ride requests, performs safety checks, assists passengers with mobility needs, and maintains daily vehicle cleanliness. Work hours are 40 per week, Mon-Fri 7:00 PM–3:00 AM, with benefits and campus service expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three to five years of related passenger transport experience preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required. CDL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate shuttle van to meet scheduled and on-demand passenger pick-up requests.
• Communicate on two-way radio with dispatcher to receive instructions and confirm changes.
• Assist passengers with mobility impairments both entering and exiting.
• Perform daily safety inspection of vehicle and equipment; complete condition reports.
