Job summary

Harvard University Central Administration is seeking a part-time Shuttle Driver to operate its shuttle van and assist passengers across Cambridge / Allston campuses. You will respond to online ride requests, communicate with the dispatcher, and help riders with mobility needs.

This role requires a valid state driver’s license and prior passenger transport experience. Typical duties include daily vehicle inspections, cleaning, refueling, and using on-demand tech for safe night rides.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three to five years of related passenger transport experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate shuttle van to meet scheduled and on-demand requests.
• Communicate with dispatcher via two-way radio for instructions and route updates.
• Assist passengers with mobility impairments entering and exiting the vehicle.
