Job summary

Newport Racing & Gaming is seeking a Shift Manager, Cage Cash Operations - Nights to support the Manager of Cash Operations in running the cage operations smoothly. This role emphasizes accurate supervision, safety, and regulatory compliance within a high-paced gaming environment.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years in cage operations and a related 2-year degree or equivalent experience, with the ability to obtain a KY Racing License.

Qualifications

• Two to five years experience in cage operations and supervision.
• 2-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Able to obtain KY Racing License.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, direct, supervise and observe cage action in casino operations for adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledgeable of Marketing Promotions and Gaming events.
• Provide guest service and arbitrate disputes to ensure favorable gaming experience.
• Assign or modify Team Member shifts as needed.
• Submit end-of-shift reports for department operations.
• Ensure safety and security of Team Members and guests; reduce lost time injuries.
