Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Building Engineer I for a night shift to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot building systems—including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical—while responding to tenant requests under supervision. This role emphasizes safety, routine maintenance, and timely issue escalation.

Key tasks include inspecting systems, handling service requests, and documenting performance. The position is 100% in-office with on-call duties and opportunities for professional development

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with BAS operation and troubleshooting.
• 2–3 years of related experience or commensurate certification.
• Safety protocols and PPE use as part of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.
• Address service requests, including hot/cold calls, plumbing issues, and lighting repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and elevate issues as needed.
• Replace light fixtures, filters, and other components as required.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance.
• Conduct property inspections to identify deficiencies; assist with preventive maintenance tasks and contractor oversight.
• Follow safety protocols; report hazards and participate in safety audits.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies.
• Interact with tenants, contractors, and property managers; work with senior engineers.
• Develop technical skills with senior engineers and partake in professional development.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
