Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Building Engineer I to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to tenant requests, and work under senior engineers.

Role emphasizes on-site, 100% in-office work with safety protocols and OSHA/NFPA compliance. You will interact with tenants, contractors, and property managers and participate in professional development programs.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of job-related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience.
• Licenses required per local, state, or national requirements.
• CFC Certification preferred.
• Develop familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; gain experience with BAS operation and troubleshooting.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.
• Address service requests, including hot/cold calls, plumbing issues, and lighting repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and elevate issues as needed.
• Replace light fixtures, filters, and other components as required.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance.
• Conduct property inspections to identify deficiencies and assist with preventive maintenance.
