Job summary

JLL seeks an Operating Engineer to maintain critical building systems across assigned properties, performing hands-on maintenance, minor repairs, and preventive care of mechanical and electrical equipment. You will work in a team applying HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and controls expertise while complying with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

The role includes on-call duties and integration with the JLL Preventative Maintenance Program.

Qualifications

• Four years in building maintenance with a related trade degree.
• Universal CFC certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, specs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical and electrical systems across properties.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to service requests.
• Operate building control and UPS systems.
• Maintain maintenance records and reports.
• Be on-call for after-hours emergencies as needed.
