Job summary

Altium Packaging in Bessemer, Alabama is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to run blow mold, grinder and trimmer machines, troubleshoot production issues, and keep the line running smoothly. You will collaborate with teammates to maximize efficiency and profits on the production line.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of machine operator experience, plus the ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience as a machine operator.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer).
• Must be able to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning) to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (speed).
• Operate blow-mold machines and related equipment.
• Perform audits and quality checks.
• Enter data into SPC database for quality control.
