Job summary

Altium Packaging in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to run blow mold, grinder, and trimmer machines and to support the production line. You will troubleshoot processes, perform routine maintenance, and work closely with teammates to maximize efficiency and production profits.

The role requires 2+ years in machine operation, strong mechanical skills, ability to read blueprints, and comfort with high-speed equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a machine operator.
• Blow mold operation experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills.
• Machine maintenance experience.
• Ability to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning) to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (speed).
• Operate blow-mold machines and related equipment.
• Perform audits, weights and quality checks.
• Check output for machine-related errors or defects.
• Maintain records of approved/defective units or final products.
• Enter data into SPC database for quality control.
