Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Houston, TX is seeking a Blow Mold - Operator II to manage plastic blow molding machines on a night shift from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am, on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule.

The role requires at least 2 years in manufacturing, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work with maintenance and production staff to ensure safe, high-quality container production. Benefits start on day one, with holidays and PTO.

Qualifications

• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality production.
• Perform mold, insert and color changes on the line.
• Make basic processing adjustments to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Assist other Operators and maintenance personnel on mechanical repairs.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Train new Operators and communicate production information to the next shift.
• Monitor resin, dryer, and color systems for processing conditions.
• Perform preventative maintenance work.
