Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Fremont, OH is seeking a Machine Operator for a day shift on a 2-2-3 12-hour schedule from 6:48am to 7:00pm. You will operate blow molding machines and make adjustments to ensure safe, high-quality container production.

The role requires at least 2 years in manufacturing, strong attendance, good communication, and the ability to work under pressure while collaborating with teams and training new staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing is required.
• Maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Effective verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and stay positive.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within instructions.
• Clear conveyance of information and teamwork across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Follow safety, quality, GMP and company policies; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Support continuous quality improvement projects and line changes.
• Perform basic processing adjustments to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Assist in training new Operators and support maintenance staff.
• Monitor material handling, resin dryers, and color systems for proper processing.
• Complete required documentation in an orderly and timely manner.
