Job summary

AZEK Exteriors is seeking a Blending Operator to operate and monitor blending systems, ensuring accurate distribution of raw materials to support production in a fast-paced plant.

This 24/7 manufacturing role requires forklift certification, basic computer skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, with a $21.50 per hour pay rate including a 10% shift differential and a $3,000 bonus ($1,500 at 3 and 6 months).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing, production, material handling, or blending experience.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Able to work in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain material levels within silos using computerized blending systems.
• Operate blending equipment and adjust material distribution as needed.
• Communicate with production teams to support scheduling and goals.
• Conduct visual inspections of material bins to ensure inventory levels.
• Transfer materials between railcars, silos, and production areas.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming raw materials.
• Ensure dust and regrind materials are stocked at bag/dump stations.
• Receive, sample, and stage raw material trailers.
• Unload wood flour trailers and maintain cleanliness of unloading/storage areas.
• Operate a yard truck to move trailers.
• Complete inventory counts and maintain production records.
• Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
