Job summary

Custom Building Products is seeking a Batch Operator at our Logan Township, NJ plant to blend materials accurately and meet daily production goals. You will follow formulas, prep equipment, weigh ingredients, and operate mixers in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

This is a 3rd shift role, Sunday through Friday, 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM, with a $1.50/hr shift premium and potential $1.00/hr raise after 90 days based on performance; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and 401K.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior batch or blending experience preferred, but training is available.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow formulas and production instructions precisely to ensure product quality.
• Weigh, measure, and load ingredients into mixers; take samples and coordinate with QC.
• Operate mixing and blending equipment for cement, grout, and related products.
• Maintain accurate production records and shift handoff documentation.
• Assist with packaging and material handling as needed to support production flow.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and wear required PPE; maintain a clean work area.
