Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is seeking a hands-on Assistant Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for the night shift (7p–7a). You’ll be trained to operate high-speed bindery equipment, focusing on quality and safety to produce books and printed materials.

You’ll join a fast-paced team, learning to set up cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while contributing to daily production goals. Full-time, overtime, and strong benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Able to read decimals, sizes, and basic job instructions.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and quality-focused.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders).
• Keep machines running smoothly by adjusting and monitoring quality.
• Work with a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues to keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
