Sheridan Ohio is hiring a night-time Assistant Manufacturing Technician-Bindery to operate and learn high-speed bindery equipment on a full-time shift from 7pm to 7am. The role emphasizes hands-on training, teamwork, and meeting daily production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc).
• mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc).
• Take pride in doing quality work.
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders)
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace
