Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health is seeking a Full-Time Behavioral Health Technician to join our residential treatment team in Texas. The role involves 3 x 12 hour shifts (7pm-7am) with weekend rotation and a $14/hour base pay plus a $1/hour shift differential for night hours.

The BHT provides supervision and support in a milieu for adults with co-occurring diagnoses, assisting with daily operations and coordinating care with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in behavioral health or addiction fields.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide around-the-clock supervision to clients in a residential setting.
• Maintain a therapeutic milieu and assist the clinical team.
• Document client observations and vitals; assist with medication observations.
• Organize client belongings and maintain inventory of items.
• Facilitate non-clinical group sessions within scope of practice.
