Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician for a 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am shift. The role provides oversight in a residential treatment setting for adults with co-occurring diagnoses and supports a therapeutic milieu.

The BHT is entry-level, with duties ranging from client transport and safety to documentation and group sessions. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in the addiction or mental health fields.
• High school diploma (or equivalent), preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License, required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information.
• Knowledge of MS Office and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provides services to maintain a functioning milieu, including transportation/pick up of clients and safety protocols.
• Maintains client records and organizes client belongings with appropriate access.
• Observes client locations and attendance, documents behaviors and presentations.
• Performs medication observations and vitals, supports medical/nursing team.
• Documents thoroughly in electronic medical records with clinical language.
• Facilitates non-clinical group sessions within scope of practice.
