Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and CPR; de-escalation technique certification.
• Preferred: some college coursework and CNA certification.
• One year healthcare behavioral health experience preferred.
• CPR and agency-approved de-escalation training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN or LPN/LVN supervision.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, intake/output, and behavioral observations.
• Assist with restraints or seclusion under RN direction using CPI techniques.
• Support safety checks and admission assessments; participate in treatment team meetings.
