Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or LPN/LVN.
• Monitors patient behavior, mental status, and activities; notifies RN of changes.
• Assists with restraints and seclusion under RN guidance and CPI techniques.
• Performs and records vital signs, intake/output, and admission vitals.
• Ensures safety by completing routine safety checks and documenting appropriately.
• Engages in 15-minute observation rounds and documents findings.
• Orients patients to the unit; participates in treatment team meetings.
• Assists with therapeutic educational groups and orientation of new staff.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA; supports CQI initiatives.
• Assists with meals, ADLs, transfers; communicates with healthcare team.
