MaineGeneral Health in Augusta, ME is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Inpatient Behavioral Health unit to provide direct patient care in the Emergency Dept BH Suite, nights.

This 24 hours/week night shift role requires at least three years of acute care experience with behavioral health patients, an active Maine RN license, BLS (MOAB preferred), and a commitment to ongoing learning and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Three years of acute care RN experience with this patient population.
• Valid Maine RN license or eligibility for licensure in Maine.
• BLS and MOAB preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans for behavioral health patients.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Collaborates to coordinate care across disciplines, including transfers and discharges.
• Delivers patient/family education tailored to age, culture, and condition.
• Delegates care to ancillary staff and may precept students and new hires.
