Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) invites applications for a Behavioral Health Associate (BHA) on the night shift. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with full benefits and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum education requirements include a bachelor’s degree in psychology or related health services; high school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of mental health experience; adolescent experience preferred.
• CNA and EMTs encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN with admissions by obtaining vital signs and securing belongings; screen visitors and calls.
• Assist the RN with discharge, returning belongings, and escorting patients out of the hospital.
• Facilitate activity, education and leisure groups; document outcomes for each member.
• Provide escorts for patients to cafeteria, courtyards, or other areas of the hospital.
• Maintain observation check sheets; conduct safety rounds and document them.
• Demonstrate compassion and respect toward patients and families.
