Job summary

Harboroaks in Florida (Wesley Chapel) seeks a compassionate caregiver for weekend night shifts (7:00 pm – 7:30 am) to provide personal care and therapeutic support to adolescents in a structured, safe setting.

You will conduct safety checks, document patient information, and engage patients in activities aligned with treatment goals, while maintaining a professional, empathetic demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months+ experience with adolescent behavioral health is preferred.
• CPR, de-escalation and restraint certification required (training provided).
• Background screening as per Florida Care Provider requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care and therapeutic support.
• Maintain a safe, structured environment and monitor safety every 15 minutes.
• Document clinical information accurately in the patient record.
• Engage patients in social and coping skills activities.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Communicate observations to nursing staff.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Six months or more experience with adolescent behavioral health population
