Job summary

North Tampa Behavioral Health Hospital in Florida is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide direct personal care and therapeutic support to adolescent patients during a night shift. Under nursing leadership you will help maintain a safe, structured environment and actively listen to patient concerns while maintaining a focus on safety and quality of care.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least six months of experience with the adolescent population; CPR and de-escalation and restraint

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care and therapeutic support to patients.
• Demonstrate safety checks and ensure 15 minute supervision intervals as needed.
• Document timely, accurate clinical information in patient records.
• Assist in providing a safe, secure and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
• Interact with patients, observe behaviors, and report observations to nursing staff.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living as needed.
