Job summary

The Drury Plaza Hotel in Pooler, near Savannah, Georgia, is hiring for a Kitchen + Bar Night Shift. You will open and close the kitchen and bar, maintain a clean, organized work area, and provide friendly, guest‑focused service.

You will prepare and serve drinks in a fast‑paced setting, handle money with a cash register, and assist guests with menu questions during events. Requirements include bartending experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Minimum one year of bartending experience; two or more years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of two years of college preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the kitchen and bar areas in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment for food preparation and bar service.
• Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast‑paced setting.
• Handle money accurately, make correct change, and operate cash registers, POS systems, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist guests with menu questions, events, and service needs.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members, handling difficult situations professionally.
• Operate kitchen and bar equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform additional duties as a prep cook, cocktail server, or other assigned tasks.
