Job summary

Aspire Bakeries in Van Nuys, CA is seeking a General Labor Production team member to support final shaping, slicing, and handling of bakery products while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient production floor.

This role operates on the 3rd shift from 10:00pm to 6:30am, with weekend availability required. You will contribute to quality, food safety, and smooth production through hands-on teamwork and adherence to GMP standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Able to perform basic math operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear English reading and writing communication.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willing to work weekends and night shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor scoring, proofing, and oven processes.
• Maintain product alignment and spacing.
• Uphold GMP, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Identify equipment issues and report promptly.
• Complete production records accurately.
• Support continuous improvement and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with teams to meet daily targets.
